Type B design(Bdes or Bachelor of design) is an undergraduate course. It is further specialized in fashion designing, textile designing, interior designing, or accessories designing. It is a four-year degree course for students interested in making their careers in the field of designing. This course provides learning of CAD, CAM, marketing, product development, personality, and skill development. The students also get a great opportunity to attend events, exhibitions, and seminars at the national and international level under this four-year degree course.
After completing the B design course, the students can start their careers in the designing field. They can do internships with senior designers to maximize their learning skills and experience in the field of designing.
The eligibility criteria to do a B design course is higher secondary qualification. One more convenience for the students is that the stream opted in secondary education does not hinder the eligibility for the B design course. Whether they are from the arts, science, or commerce stream, they are still eligible for this designing course.
The age limit criteria are a minimum of 19-20 years or as per the specifications of the respective institutes.
