People feel lonely due to intentional isolation, simple social awkwardness, and many more. Some even feel lonely and bored when they are in a group of people or surrounded by people only because they lack meaningful attractions or connections. It’s like a life cycle, and in one way or the other, you have experienced this feeling, and I can tell from my experience this is the worst feeling ever, and if you are not careful and strong enough, it can ruin your social life. Dealing with personal loneliness can take different forms, including learning new things in your free time, meeting new friends, reconnecting with new people or places, and simple meditation practices. And overcoming loneliness depends on the following approach;

How to Overcome loneliness

Try to Understand your Lonely Feeling

The first step towards overcoming your loneliness is identifying the main reason you are feeling low. This is important because it allows you to find a better way to respond to the exact thing affecting your normal social life. You can take some break out and try to recall all the events you’ve just found yourself in and pick the one contributing to any of your feelings. For instance, if you engaged yourself in an argument with a friend, it will be okay if you try to find the main reason it broke out, and if you are wrong, don’t feel band to apologize. Self-realization is the key to self-healing, and if you can find it inside you, you can find your healing and mood back.

Practice Mediation

Some research has suggested that a day or some hours in meditation may ease any feeling associated with depression and loneliness. Meditation is also a better way to connect and get in touch with your internal system where the awkwardness comes from or is being generated. The best way to calm yourself or to take the lonely feeling out is through communicating with yourself. Allow yourself to interact with others; it doesn’t necessarily mean people can interact with pets and nature.

Therapy Sessions

If you find it hard to track your events down, it can be easy for a qualified person to understand your emotions. A good therapist should help you get through chronic loneliness or any associated feeling. Take your time and try to understand yourself first before you bury yourself inside with depressions and internal stress that might ruin your social life.
