What is a baby crib liner?
A breathable baby crib liner is a breathable material that lines the inside of your child’s bed to increase airflow and reduce moisture. This breathability helps prevent dangerous bacteria from growing, increasing the safety of your little one’s sleeping environment.
- Breathable baby crib liners help keep babies safe by reducing moisture in their beds – A breathable baby crib liner can be washed frequently without worrying about damage
- Baby liners are made with some or all-natural materials which means that they’re safer for children who have allergies or sensitivities to chemicals found in other products such as rubber, plastic, vinyl, etc.
These liners are a great way to protect your baby’s breathability and safety. They can be used in cribs, play yards, or bassinets. These liners act as the perfect barrier between the mattress and your baby’s skin, preventing liquids from seeping through to their skin (which could lead to rashes) while also providing protection against dust mites and other allergens that may be lurking in your bedding.
There are three main points we will cover below: breathability; breathable liner materials; and safety of these liners.
Breathability: these liners are breathable because they allow for airflow. They act as the perfect barrier between your child’s skin and their mattress, which is especially important when babies sleep in a variety of positions (e.g., on their backs, stomachs), many times without covers over them at all!
Breathable Liner Materials: breathable liner materials are typically made out of vinyl or mesh fabric that allows air to pass through easily while still providing protection against liquids seeping through to baby’s skin.
Safety of These Liners: breathable crib liners can help prevent rashes caused by contact with bedding fluids coming from the urine, saliva, etc.; however there have been no studies linking these products directly with preventing SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome).

Are they expensive?
No! They range in price from $50-$100 depending on the size and brand. For example, Breathable has these liners ranging in size for cribs up to 54″ x 30″, which costs about $69 dollars while Breathe Baby sells breathable liners sized 56″x 36″ for your larger-sized starting at around $75.
